The Hanover League has nurtured relationships with the community since opening our doors in 1952. For over 60 years, our gallery and crafts education program has brought generations of curiosity seekers, lifelong learners, artists and craft lovers together.
The Hanover League Gallery Store closed its doors in July 2020. CraftStudies continues to offer classes in metalsmithing (jewelry making and small metal sculpture), pottery, sewing, felting, basketry, and so much more.
Our instructors strive for excellence in nuturing professional and hobbiest crafts people.
Originally from Zimbabwe, Suzanne moved to the Upper Valley in 1999 via London and Vancouver, Canada. She brings a diverse business background to the day-to-day operations of CraftStudies. Having been a crafter from a young age—sewing her own clothes, knitting projects, and crocheting garments—Suzanne has now expanded her range to many other materials. She lives in Sharon, VT with her furniture-maker husband and son.
